So why do I LOVE working in ceramics?
From a mound of mud, with observation, patience, guided intention, and a fair amount of faith, clay comes to life! Enhanced by the glazes, each color teeming with their own unique personality and potential, clay is magically transformed by the heat of the kiln. Loving it all, challenged and open to new possibilities of exploration, the process is forever intriguing, exciting and humbling. The hopeful result is to produce ceramic art that is emotionally meaningful for me and for you, my dear collector. This may be a satisfying tiny tile, dreamscape mosaic, patterned platter, face vase, story tiles or something we dream up together.
